Get on the Ball
From August 28th to 30th, the Brothers of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity at
Case Western Reserve University are hosting the first annual “Get
on the Ball” philanthropic campaign to benefit the Rainbow Babies
and Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network.
We hope that you would be willing to support this effort. This three-day
event will consist of rolling a six foot ball around our campus collecting
signatures on the ball from any individual willing to support Children’s
Miracle Network. The person signing the ball will be encouraged to donate
money but not required.
Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity nationally supports Children’s Miracle
Network through many philanthropic efforts, and this particular event
has been very successful for our fraternity on other campuses. Children’s
Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids
by raising funds for 172 children’s hospitals across North America.
Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital is the closest affiliate
of Children’s Miracle Network. The 172 CMN hospitals are there 24
hours a day, 365 days a year, to help kids of every age and background
overcome disease and injury, including everything from asthma and broken
bones to cancer, sickle cell anemia, pediatric AIDS, and muscular dystrophy.
This year alone, CMN hospitals will provide free care worth billions to
17 million children, and these non-profit children’s hospitals depend
on community support to help fund their vital services.
Please help us support this organization through this philanthropic effort.
If you wish to help this cause, this form
needs to be filled out and returned no later than August 20th. Our mailing
address is on the home page of this website. Additionally, you can now
donate online through Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital website.
Please designate your gift as "Other" and type in "Get
on the Ball" to ensure your donation is accredited to this event.
Thank you for your time, and remember your support of Children’s
Miracle Network helps ensure that children have the specialized care they
need and deserve.
If you have any questions on our philanthropic efforts, please contact
our philanthropy chair, Russ Hardesty.

has been very successful in past years. Last year, hundreds of dollars
